Your childrens' stories sound like my son's! You are a strong mom who is on an incredible journey that I understand all too well... I have become a taxi to water therapy several times per week, a fixture at specialists offices and mender of the soul through medical procedures... plus creatively figuring out limitations without limiting motovation and easing the pain that never seems to let him have a break. For zachs story and updates, my blog is the attack of zach!Twins+2mommahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02749504702307369272noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7195400996232158116.post-32964306583490807592011-02-17T22:48:53.469-08:002011-02-17T22:48:53.469-08:00Nin Jiom Pei Pa Koa (ninjiom-hk.cwahi.net) may be ...Nin Jiom Pei Pa Koa (ninjiom-hk.cwahi.net) may be another choice. i know alot of people use it, its also non alcoholic, though it's effectiveness is not as good as alcohol based cough medicine, but it's still good to use on not so serious sore throat.Rachelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15409954932479456236noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7195400996232158116.post-77236588138240149892011-01-18T10:57:02.455-08:002011-01-18T10:57:02.455-08:00I recently stumbled across your blog. I too have ...I recently stumbled across your blog. I too have two children with Juvenile Arthritis. (And I have inflammatory arthritis as well.) Your daughter's story and symptoms so clearly mirror my son's - it is uncanny! My son had very similar abdominal pain for years ... worse with arthritis flares, periodic loose bowels, clean colonoscopy, etc. You may want to ask her GI about the possibility of a motility disorder. In absolute frustration, and with absolutely no clinical data, we tried our son on a pro-motility medication called domperidone. His abdominal pain disappeared over the course of the next few days. Pain that he had experienced for years was gone. When we reduce his domperidone, the pain comes back. Although domperidone is not commercially available in the US, it is an over the counter med in some European countries. There are ways to get access to it through "compassionate use" authorization through the FDA.

Best wishes to you and your children!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7195400996232158116.post-62946032647895437512011-01-16T04:30:02.004-08:002011-01-16T04:30:02.004-08:00Heidi, Sorry to hear Hannah had to go through all ...Heidi, Sorry to hear Hannah had to go through all of that! It sounds like an absolute nightmare. It shouldn't have to be that to be an amazing parent, you have to do such hard things. :( I agree with Julie & Amy- you are absolutely the best possible mom for your kids. Praise God that the biopsy results are normal!
